Who I Am

I'm a software development leader with a track record in roles up to CTO level, currently working at Tesco Mobile in Manchester. But beyond my day job, I'm passionate about exploring the cutting edge of e-commerce technology and sharing what I learn with the community.

As the self-appointed Chief Imagineering Officer at hypothetic.dev, I dedicate myself to technical exploration and pushing boundaries through side projects and conference presentations. This work is my personal learning journey, undertaken alongside and not associated with my paid employment.

My Magento Journey

I discovered Magento and its incredible community in 2011, and I've never looked back. Since then, I've become a 6x Magento Certified Developer and Adobe Subject Matter Expert - Adobe Commerce Business Practitioner.

What Drives Me

I'm particularly interested in:

• Democratizing Technology: Making powerful tools accessible through low/no-code solutions (like Lownto)
• Developer Experience: Building tools that make developers' lives easier (Docker Stack, Elastic APM integration)
• Serverless & Edge Computing: Exploring modern deployment paradigms with Cloudflare Pages and Workers
• Community Sharing: Presenting at conferences and contributing to the broader Magento ecosystem

Beyond Code

I'm based in Manchester, England, and I'm always open to exploring innovative, unconventional technical challenges. I believe in the power of community and am willing to travel for collaboration and speaking engagements.

My approach combines deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of business needs, honed through years of experience in roles spanning from hands-on development to strategic leadership.
